Set in the North Yorkshire countryside, but only 4.5 miles from York city centre, The Willows Carp & Coarse Fishery is the perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing days fishing. Consisting of two “well established” and individual lakes, the fishery boasts many feature-rich pegs offering great coarse and carp fishing for the pleasure, or match angler. Large free car park, and toilet facilities. No long walks – ideal for the disabled.

Tucked away off the busy Boroughbridge Road, The Willows hosts two secluded, and idyllic, lakes set in beautiful surroundings with well established plants and trees. The newer ridge pool holds 26 spacious pegs, while the more mature goldrush pool holds 34.

The fishery rules are in place to protect the fish and other wildlife. Please adhere to the rules at all times.

·Open 7.00 am until 1 hour beforedusk·                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Please keep to the paths provided

· Barbless hooks only, No microbarbs – maximum hook size 10
· No keep nets – only one rod to be used at any one time, other rods may be
assembled.
· No fishing between the two signs in front of the house – No night fishing
· Please keep to the permanent pegs
· Mini pellets only – No nuts, boilies, dead / live baiting, method feeders or
braid hook lengths
· Please remove all litter, discarded fishing tackle and bait.
· No pets allowed
· Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult

Please note: They reserve the right to ask any angler to leave the lakes.
